  • MY JOURNEY TO HERE

After giving birth to my three children, I experienced the common side effect of leaking and then (because leaking wasn’t enough to deal with) prolapse.

I was angry that I had no idea this could happen to me, and I felt like my body was falling apart. I didn't have the knowledge to help myself; I was running myself ragged, staying up all hours researching on Dr Google and getting lost down rabbit holes trying to find a solution. I became obsessed with the idea of being able to regain control of my body. I desperately wanted to regain the freedom to do the activities I loved without the shame of leaking and the discomfort of a prolapse. With all my physio knowledge, I knew there must be an answer out there, and I wasn't happy with the narrative I had been given.

  •  SKIP FORWARD A FEW YEARS

Thankfully I no longer experience prolapse symptoms, and I no longer need to wear incontinence pads. I now have the freedom to run, leap and jump with my kids anytime I want and have the confidence that my pelvic floor will support all these activities. On my own healing journey, I realised just how many other women were also suffering in silence. They had nowhere to go and kept stumbling across contradictory information.

  • WHEN I WANTED TO HEAL

There wasn't one single place I could find all the information I needed to recover. I felt like I was finding separate pieces of the jigsaw puzzle all over the place, and it was a frustrating and infuriating journey to piece them all together. This is why I have collated all the information here for you. I've put together a comprehensive prolapse program to give you everything you need all in one place. My course will offer you the direct path to healing that you deserve.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

The initial part of the course is designed to help you understand your body, how it works, and what can go wrong to cause prolapse.

All of us have strengths and weaknesses, which are perfectly normal. However, these can sometimes develop into dysfunctions and cause us problems.

The course is broken down into six easy and manageable units, using graphics, videos and exercises to help you understand how beautifully your body works together. These videos will guide you on a journey to embracing your body once again, and recovering your pelvic floor function.

  • UNIT 1: THE DEEP DIVE
This unit also known as our educational foundation unit, will help you understand your body better, how it works, and what has gone wrong to cause your symptoms. Once we understand our bodies, we are in a much better position to start to mend them. And that is the ultimate goal.

  • UNIT 2: PELVIC RELEASE PHYSICAL

Here we master the pelvic floor release. Many people spend too much trying to contract their pelvic floor, when actually its just as important to be able to release it, to ensure it is functioning the way you need it to. In this module we will be practicing a variety of release techniques to help you master the release.

  • UNIT 3: PELVIC RELEASE, MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL

In this unit will be taking an honest look at our thoughts feelings and our relationship with our bodies. Our bodies store trauma, anxiety and emotions and we often do this in our pelvis leading to pelvic pain, hypertonicity and gripping of the pelvic floor. Here we will be working hard to release this and allow are physical and emotional selves to heal, and move forward to restoring a functional pelvic floor.

  •  UNIT 4: TROUBLE SHOOTING AND PRACTICAL TOOLS
We will be looking at our different body systems, and what needs to change to allow our bodies to function optimally. These units will guide you and give you practical lifelong skills to help your pelvic floor function well again. We will be self-assessing our individual needs, problems and challenges. Using exercise, stretching, breath work, massage, strengthening and release work to achieve our goals. Plus our bonus scar massage module, to help you release any adhesions.

  • UNIT 5: RETURN TO FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT
Applying all we have learned to achieve safe and confident function and movement. Encouraging our integrated systems to work in synergy and return to their natural balance for optimum performance. Understanding how to adapt our daily activities to protect our pelvic floor. Plus beginner workouts.

  • UNIT 6: LEARN TO FLY AGAIN
Here we will be taking ourselves closer to our ultimate goals and applying everything we have learned to far, in order to return to the activities we love with confidence. Includes workouts for core, lower and upper limbs, plus using weights.
