I struggled, just like you

After giving birth to my three children, I experienced the common side effect of leaking.

And then,

"As if leaking wasn't bad enough, I suffered a prolapse".

I remember the feelings of intense anger and shame I felt. After years of being an active person, I felt like my body was falling part. And worse, I had no control over what was happening.

At the time, I had zero knowledge of what a woman should do after suffering a prolapse. I ran myself ragged, staying up night after night, searching the internet to find an alternative solution to what the NHS had offered me. I didn't want surgery. I certainly did not want to just accept this was just "how it is".

I desperately wand to regain control of my body, so I had the freedom to do the activities I wanted without the shame or discomfort. Luckily I trusted my gut instinct... my body was telling me there was another option.

Skip forward a few short years later and

I no longer experience any prolapse symptoms

Today, I have the freedom to run, leap and jump with my kids - any time, any place, anywhere - confident that my pelvic floor will support all of my activities with zero symptoms or wearing incontinence pads. Module 1

The Deep Dive

We begin with our Educational Foundation Unit, to provide you with a better understanding of your body.

With your new knowledge, you will be able to assess where you are, and why you have the issues you do!

Module 2

Pelvic Release Physical

Here we master the pelvic floor release. Many people spend too much time trying to contract their pelvic floor, when actually it's just as important to be able to release it. This ensures it is functioning the way you need it to.

In this module, we will be practicing a variety of release techniques to help you master your pelvic release.

Module 3

Pelvic Release: Mental & Emotional

In this unit, we will be taking an honest look at our thoughts, feelings and relationship with our bodies.

You see, our bodies store trauma, anxiety and emotions and we often do this in our pelvis, leading to pelvic pain, hypertonicity and gripping of the pelvic floor.

Here we will be working hard to release this, and allow your physical and emotional selves to heal.

This will allow you to move forward and restore a functional pelvic floor.

Module 4

Trouble Shooting & Practical Tools

We will next be looking at our different body systems, and what needs to change to allow our bodies to function optimally. 

These units will guide you and give you practical lifelong skills to help your pelvic floor function well again.

We will be self-assessing our individual needs, problems and challenges.

This will be achieved by using a range of exercise, stretching, breath work, massage, strengthening and release work.

Plus, a bonus scar massage module to help you release any adhesions.

Module 5

Return To Functional Movement

Applying all we have learned to achieve safe and confident function and movement.

Encouraging our integrated systems to work in synergy and return to their natural balance for optimum performance. understanding how to adapt our daily activities to protect our pelvic floor.

Plus specific workouts designed for your recovery.

Module 6

Learn To Fly Again

Here we will be taking ourselves closer to our ultimate goals and applying everything we have learned so far, in order to return to the activities we love with confidence.

Includes workouts for core, lower and upper limbs, plus using weights.

Hi, my name  is Esther

I am specialist physiotherapist in Sports injuries and Women's health, and the Founder of the Pelvic Power Movement.

With over 15 years experience, I have helped thousands of women to recover control of their bodies.

I am a straight-talking, no-nonsense physiotherapist, and I am not afraid to broach taboo subjects.

My mission is to help women regain control of their bodies. I believe everyone has the right to be confident in their body.

I have two Science Degrees, in physiotherapy and biomedical science. I am also studying for my physiotherapy Masters in incontinence.

Based in Lincolnshire, when I am not working, you'll find me spending time with my husband and three children, enjoying many laughs and adventures.
